Ted Nugent Muses About Shooting Harry Reid During NRA Event

Ted Nugent mused aloud at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting this past weekend about shooting Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid. Nugent is on the gun group’s board of directors and was asked about the NRA’s past support of the Nevada Democrat.

The NRA never endorsed Reid, as the questioner said, but Reid has received money from them. Nugent called Reid a “lying prick” before addressing the man’s question.

“The NRA knows what they’re doing,” he said. “If your child is dying and there is only one way to get to the doctor, would you get on Harry Reid’s boat to get there?… I’d get on the boat, get there, and then I’d shoot him.”
