Trump Tweets At NFL: ‘Too Much Talk, Not Enough Action’

With the massive wave of news earlier in the day, it’s a little odd (but not…) to find that President Donald Trump is still tweeting about the recent NFL protests.

Now, Trump (or maybe this was a Dan Scavino tweet…) seems to only be getting more and more rhythmic with his Twitter proclamations:

.@NFL: Too much talk, not enough action. Stand for the National Anthem.

Now––not to take away from the tasteful, evolving prose––but one has to wonder where the President’s (or the White House social media team’s) priorities are. While the NFL protests spurred by Colin Kaepernick has been a favorite wedge issue for Trump, maybe… just maybe… this is meant to be a convenient attempt at a distraction.
