Tucker Carlson Asks Palestinian Guest if He ‘Takes English,’ Cuts Off Second Interview of Night: ‘You’re a Moron’
This is not a repeat.
Moments after Tucker Carlson abruptly ended a heated debate with a college professor about race, the Fox News primetime host pulled the plug during another skirmish with a different college professor about the recently upheld travel ban.
Amer Zahr, an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, appeared on the show to argue that President Donald Trump‘s travel ban impacting a number of Muslim-majority countries along with North Korea and Venezuela is white supremacy.
“What Trump is trying to do is to stop the brownification of America,” Zahr said.
Carlson referenced a statistic that 90 percent of immigrants to the U.S. since 1965 have been non-white.
“What percentage would Trump like to get it to, to achieve this white supremacy that you’re barking about?” Carlson said. “Please be specific since you seem to know a lot about this.”
“He told us what [his vision for immigration] would look like when he was in the Oval Office, and he called black countries s-hole countries, and ‘Why can’t we get more peep from Norway?’He told us exactly what he was envisioning,” Zahr said.
“You are a demagogue,” Carlson said, without refuting Zahr’s point.
The discussion continued — with Zahr arguing that the Muslim ban is evidence that Trump is a white supremacist.
“Islam is not a race,” Carlson said. “You guys take English?”
Carlson and Zahr shouted over each other for a bit longer, before Carlson said, “It’s so frustrating to talk to someone as dumb as you.”
Zahr tried to laugh off that comment.
“Listen, Tucker,” he said. “I know that you agree with Trump’s white supremacist policies.”
And then Carlson, for the second time during Monday night’s show, cut off the interview.
“Knock it off, pal. It’s over for you. You’re a moron. Stop!”
