Why Is Google Protecting ‘Islam?’ Asks Fox & Friends
Is Google trying to protect Islam?
That’s the question asked by Fox & Friends this morning, but it’s something that has also been circulated around the web for a few days now – and it looks like all signs point to yes.
Here’s a Reddit thread started January 8 that gained a great deal of attention. It shows how when you enter “Christianity Is…” Google automatically shows you some possible search results, many which are not very favorable:

This is true of all religions – all except Islam:

“Maybe there’s a fear that Google could aggravate the Islamic world,” said co-host Brian Kilmeade today.
Well Google says this is all a big misunderstanding. “This is a bug and we’re working to fix it as quickly as we can,” says a spokesperson. But if it’s a bug, it’s a bug that still hasn’t been fixed. “They’ve been saying that for a couple days,” said co-host Steve Doocy. “Here it is, 8:32 eastern time on Monday morning, still messed up like that.”
“It would have nothing to do with our PC society, I’m sure,” said Gretchen Carlson sarcastically.
Say what you want about Fox & Friends, but they’re right. This clearly shows an attempt at political correctness by Google – and political correctness that only benefits one side. Will bringing the issue to millions finally produce a change (or at least an actual explanation)? So far, it’s still not “fixed.”
Here’s the segment this morning:
