Brian Stelter Rips Trump’s Weekend Tweetstorm: He Sounds ‘Deeply Troubled’ and Unhinged
CNN’s Brian Stelter opened this morning by going off on President Trump‘s tweet very heavily suggesting that maybe the FBI was too busy looking into Russia dead ends to prevent the Parkland school shooting.
Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter. This is not acceptable. They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign – there is no collusion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!

Plenty of people found this shocking, even for Trump, and Stelter said this morning, “The President of the United States is making it about himself.”
Stelter noted how a similar talking point was previously made by people on Fox News like Tucker Carlson and Geraldo Rivera.
“This is nonsensical,” he said.
And after rattling off a few more Trump tweets, Stelter concluded with this:
“Maybe in person, President Trump is cool, calm, and collected. But on Twitter, he sounds deeply troubled. He sounds unhinged. This is why questions about his fitness for office are so urgent. This is the biggest story that I see happening right now.”
