Scarborough: Melania is Either ‘Completely Clueless’ or Trolling Her Husband

As Morning Joe openers go, this one was always meant to be (especially on a Tuesday morning in late August.)

Yesterday First Lady Melania Trump spoke before a crowd at the Cyberbullying Prevention Summit, part of the Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention Steering Committee effort. The First Lady’s speech is part of her own “Be Best” campaign, an initiative started to deal with the “the major issues facing children” according to the White House.

She raised eyebrows, however, when she mentioned in part of her speech “most children are more aware of the benefits and pitfalls of social media than some adults.”Who could she possibly be referring to?

Well, according to Joe Scarborough there are two explanations for the First Lady’s comments. After airing a montage of Ms. Trump’s comments with reports of some of Trump’s worst tweets, Mr. Scarborough wondered “is she completely clueless or trolling the man that she’s married to?”

In case there was any confusion, he finished with “I kind of think it’s the latter.”
