Joy Behar Rips Lindsey Graham’s Tepid Defense of John McCain: ‘He Needs to Find His Testicularity’

Like many other opinion-centric infotainment programs, The View opened Monday’s show by lighting into President Donald Trump’s voluminous  Twitter output in which the commander-in-chief complained about an SNL re-run, directed Fox News programming decisions, spouted conspiracy theories and, notably for viewers of The View, blasted Senator John McCain.

Each co-host took turns lamenting Trump’s Twitter behavior before Meghan McCain was given the turn to gracefully respond to what she deemed as evidence of just how “pathetic” Trump is for attacking her father. But it was Joy Behar’s dinging of Senator Lindsey Graham for what she deemed as his very tepid response to the memory of his Senatorial best buddy that earned this Mediaite headline.

After Trump twice blasted the recently departed American war hero  — and former GOP presidential candidate — Graham tweeted out what many saw as a soft defense of his former congressional colleague. Graham tweeted:

Noted progressive Behar lit into the senior South Carlina Senator, noting that he was simply aligning himself politically with President Trump.  “Lindsey Graham is making a huge error right now in believing that this man will ever, ever back him up because Lindsey is crawling to the president so that he can get re-elected, and Trump is acting like a sadist towards Lindsey Graham, putting him between a rock and a hard place and saying, okay, bow to me even more now.”

And in the event her message was lost to anyone watching, she added “Because what is Lindsey going to he wants to get re-elected. He needs to find his testicularty now and go for it. That’s what I have to say to Lindsey Graham.”
