Kellyanne Conway Applauds Sanders for Saying Dems Should ‘Stop with Identity Politics’
In brief comments to reporters this afternoon, Kellyanne Conway played up some of the divisions in the Democratic party right now after their crushing election loss.
Conway gave a shoutout in particular to Tulsi Gabbard, the Hawaii Democrat who actually met with Donald Trump, saying that they found a great deal of “common ground” and praising her for “boldly” standing up to her party.
Conway pointed to the Democrat challenging Nancy Pelosi for leadership and Bernie Sanders, who said that Democrats need to understand that identity politics cannot be the overriding focus of their party.
Conway responded by saying, “He can call, we’ll tell him how to do that and win.”
