Sen. Al Franken: Some GOP Colleagues Privately Express Concerns About Trump’s Mental Health

Last Friday on Real Time with Bill Maher, Senator Al Franken talked about some Republican colleagues privately expressing concerns about President Trump being “not right mentally.”

On CNN’s State of the Union this morning, Jake Tapper asked him if he was being serious there.

Franken affirmed that “a few” of his colleagues have expressed those concerns:

“In the way that we all have this suspicion that––he lies a lot, he says things that aren’t true.”
