Glen Beck is so wrong about so many things. He is like a child that found a magnet for the first time and is telling the world “Look Magic!” True Socialism is Conservative and government is by its nature socialist. The job of government is to regulate many aspects of the community and to preserve it in a same or similar manner. Police, fire and sometimes water, sewage, garbage and home energy are examples of community paid maintenance and protection of the community as a whole. Beck, we are all Socialist. Conservative means change that creates transformation that preserves the old or former states. All natural change is Conservative. Conservative also means the preservation of what already exists, such as historical sites and buildings, institutions, parks or wildlife refuge.
