The Alvin Greene Stimulus Package: Create Alvin Greene Action Figures
For a while now, Americans have had one large concern: jobs. It’s become a polarizing political problem that President Barack Obama has gotten a great deal of criticism for. But had we consulted South Carolina Senate candidate Alvin Greene earlier, we’d have learned of a new idea to stimulate the economy: creating Alvin Greene action figures.
“Another thing we can do for jobs is make toys of me, especially for the holidays. Little dolls. Me. Like maybe little action dolls. Me in an army uniform, air force uniform, and me in my suit. They can make toys of me and my vehicle, especially for the holidays and Christmas for the kids. That’s something that would create jobs.”
And if you think he’s kidding, think again:
“So you see I think out of the box like that. It’s not something a typical person would bring up. That’s something that could happen, that makes sense. It’s not a joke.”
Yes, Mr. Greene, it’s definitely out of the box. While, we’ve recently discovered that Greene’s life hasn’t exactly been a joy ride, it’s hard not to wonder where these ideas come from. If nothing else, he gets points for creativity…and at least his plan has some relation to private-sector job creation.
That said, we now ask you, the people, to gauge Greene’s idea. Vote in the poll below!
