Trump: ‘Something Going On’ With Obama’s Body Language When He Talks About Police Deaths
Donald Trump expressed skepticism over President Obama‘s response to the murders of police officers in Baton Rouge over the weekend, saying there was “something going on” and that the president’s body language was amiss.
Calling in to Fox & Friends Monday morning, Trump said, “I mean, you know, I watched the president and sometimes the words are okay. But you just look at the body language. There’s something going on. Look, there’s something going on and the words are not often okay, by the way.”
When co-host Steve Doocey asked him to clarify what he meant, Trump responded, “There’s just bad feeling and a lot of bad feeling about him. I see it too. And there’s a lot of bad feeling about him. We have a country that has not been like this since I can remember it.”
“Something’s going on” has become something of a byword Trump uses to refer generally to things he finds suspicious about Obama without assigning a reason or providing evidence.
