• Wednesday night marked Campbell Brown‘s last night at 8pmET for CNN, and Larry King is leaving his 9pmET show soon. But it was Anderson Cooper‘s 10pmET show which won in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic.

Keith Olbermann returned from vacation to give a special comment – and had the top MSNBC show in the demo, but Rachel Maddow had the top show in total viewers.

It just looks like soaring, ’cause the others be sinking.

Andy , Larry King wants to know a good place to take a chick on a first date in New York . Do you know , or should he ask Joy Behar ?

  • TfT

Yup – Cooper soared right into third place. HAHA

  • Sean68

Damning with faint praise if I ever heard it.

  • Moderate

What! No mention of Fox News.

  • libra blue

Anderson just gave his definition of what journalism is. Unfortunately, some of the reporting that he and CNN have been doing on the Tea Parties and the Sherrod story, to name two, don’t fit that definition.

“Andy , Larry King wants to know a good place to take a chick on a first date in New York”

I don’t think Andy know’s much about chicks. Just sayin’.

  • miki01

Soaring where? All thats soaring is Fox!! Take that u quasi-journolists!

  • Arkansas Steve

Anderson has been terrible on the Shirley Sherrod story.

Trouble is, he really doesn’t know how bad he is on this story.
Maybe he’s figured out that being opinionated, even when missing the point, often works.

Cooper is a pathetic dweeb, so if he “soars” past other CNN dorks…who cares?

  • Some_Dude

Why do we care about television ratings so much? I don’t know anyone over 18 that doesn’t watch news segments on-line or in a podcast.

  • sarainitaly

So, basically, Olbermann could have stayed on vacation, grabbed a bullhorn, and gave his special report from whatever beach he was on, and as many people would have heard it?
