Barbara Walters’ Final Oscars Interview Show – And Her Next One
Barbara Walters announced on The View this week that this year’s pre-Oscars interview special would be her last, after nearly 30 years.
But what will she do for her next special? Jimmy Kimmel gave his take.
“I think I’m sick of them,” Walters said Monday. “I feel I’ve been there, done that. 29 years is enough.”
Her co-hosts expressed their disappointment at the time, including Whoopi Goldberg. “The industry will be slightly less because you’re not doing it,” she said.
Well last night Jimmy Kimmel had an idea. “She really has talked to everyone,” he said. “In fact, I think there’s only one big star that she hasn’t interviewed left.” Then he introduced the promo for “The Barbara Walters Barbara Walters Exclusive Special.”
