Bill O’Reilly’s Demo Beats Campbell Brown’s Total Last Night

Cable news ratings, August 25, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

• Bill O’Reilly’s FNC program topped all cable news shows last night in both the A25-54 demographic and in total viewers. He also had more demo viewers than CNN’s Campbell Brown had total viewers at 8pmET (1,001,000 to 857,000). The Factor had more than 1 million demo viewers for the 5th time this month.

• The top non-FNC program in the demo was Countdown with Keith Olbermann, while CNN’s Larry King Live was #1 in total viewers.

• CNN topped MSNBC in the battle for #2 in prime time.

msnbc has become a joke. Dan was lucky to get out when he did. I used to love the channel, but they are nothing but pathetic and ridiculous.

The only good thing about msnbc is Morning Joe, but I am getting sick of the same hacks that appear on the show every day. Lawrence O’Donnoll is disgusting.

Shuster, Ed, Maddow, Tingles and Olby are so partisan and do nothing but spew bull daily. No one can tolerate them anymore.

After years of the cringe-worthy pronunciation of nu-cu-lar during the Bush White House, it seemed like we finally had an administration who had a litmus test in staffing their National Security detail - pronounce the word "nuclear." Not so. During an interview to discuss Iran's weapons program with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell today, National Security Chief of Staff Denis McDonough definitely uttered the term Nucular. Gotcha!
