It will never happen, but it’s one of the reasons that television turned out to be a vast wasteland, because if the viewer is not allowed to think for herself, then the only participatory decisions are whether to turn on the boob tube, what channel to watch and how long, and whether you agree or disagree with the opinion that’s presented. It would be worthwhile if panels like these get assembled to review all the known facts and list out the unknowns, rather than telling us about conclusions each of them have arrived at but not showing us why. This one is an example of the worse sort: a neo-liberal host with two guests who are serving Democratic party elected pols. I just know  Chris Christie as governor  slashed funding for public education in NJ.  How can anyone be for him when he doesn’t give a damn about the future of our children . Or is he with ALEC whose goal is to dismantle public education with schooling sponsored by corporations.  The Republicans in general was to slash funding for education and health care, especially for minorities, ie , blacks, Hispanics, iow low income people.  Its not handouts, its social support.  Its giving support for people who genuinely need it.

The President is polite, respectful, deliberate and most of all conscious of his political responsibilities to govern for the well being of all the people of America.  Those worthy few who the extremists believe are blessed by the gods if they have wealth and all the rest are just damned .
