Friggin’ Nice: Man Tries To Rob WABC 7 News Van While Crew Covers Stabbings In NJ

TV

While a WABC news crew attempted to cover a series of stabbings outside a New Jersey hospital, a man smashed their news van window, and reached in to help himself to their pricey electronics. A prince among men, no?

The news crew said they yelled, “Hey!” at the man, who then ran away, loaded down with small electronics, to a Honda Civic parked nearby. A crew member was able to catch up with him, but the man was able to get away and keep running, propelled only by his intense desire to ruin everyone’s day.

Eventually, local good Samaritans joined in the chase, and one person was able to get the man to drop the stolen goods before he ran away. The man’s would-be getaway car was left behind, and a closer look reveals it had been stolen as well.

As it turns out, WABC has always been quite proud of their high-tech news vans. Have a look:

Fancy!

I don’t feel sorry for the News people. In your people’s face when crap happens.

For them to have a good day, something bad has to happen to someone else.

What does this have to do with Sarah Palin?

Did they interview themselves and ask them how they felt?
