Gee, that’s a lot of stupid Americans watching Glen Beck. I wonder how they got so stupid? You know what, I bet they all attended government-run public schools. Eureka! Now I understand why the Obamas, the Bidens, the Clintons, the Gores, the Kennedys, et al, send their kids to posh private schools. I bet their kids ain’t watchin’ no Glen Beck!

Actually, it’s only 2,763,000, or less than 1% of all Americans. If that constitutes all of the stupid people in America, I’d say we’re doing well.

According to MSNBC, TV ratings are like a game of golf. The lower your score, the better you’re doing.

Three recent polls — from Gallup, Pew, and WSJ/NBC News — show that America is still a center-right country. Fox News Channel appeals to a center-right audience. ALL the other TV news organizations — NBC/MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC — are scrambling to a share of the minority of viewers, those on the left end of the political spectrum.

So while maybe there are a few stupid Americans watching Glenn Beck, I suspect that he really has a highly educated and intelligent viewership — because the truly stupid would be bored by him in 30 seconds. On some days his show is like an upper-level college lecture on history and economics. Plus sometimes he has guests who turn the program into a graduate seminar.

    >Three recent polls — from Gallup, Pew, and WSJ/NBC News — show that America is still a center-right country.

If that was true, then the Democrats wouldn’t own all three branches. That’s a complete BS argument and you know it.

Rush mocked Blitzer yesterday for ignoring the Obama polls, by reaching back and playing Blitzer’s remarks on Bush’s poll numbers. The American people are a whole lot smarter than the anchors on these networks, if Blitzer wants to regain some viewers he needs to stop covering up for teh One. Either report fairly or they will continue to bleed viewers. Red Eye beats CNN prime time.
