Congratulations to Behar! It’s a good show!

Joy is great. Consistently smart and interesting.

Non-Fox news show. That doesn’t even need to be said. It’s not like Joy or any of the other hacks are even playing on the same field as Fox’s talent. All of these Non-Fox News channels should just pack it in, nobody’s watching. How many times can you watch Joy give credence to the Trig isn’t Sarah’s baby whack job theory before someone says just shut the h**l up you miserable sour cow.

  • rmbltmbl

Oh, I so love the constant little giggles from the crew and her sharp little liberal jokes! lol

I’m a bit surprised to see how many posts/readers you have that are right wingers on here. That said, I can only smirk and shake my head in wonder at anyone who actually thinks Fox is “news” in any way shape or form.

Maybe Fox viewers should google the topic of how Fox fought for the right to lie on air, in court, and won. Fox viewers really need to also learn the difference between “news” and “commentary”.

Sad and embarrassing so much of this country is so dumbed down.

Separately, I always wonder about the technology used to get ‘ratings’ in the first place. There are 300 million people in this country and usually numerous tv’s per home.. then add in those tv’s with equipment that allows 2 channels at once, or tv’s that are set on a channel and no one is watching, etc. I’m not relating this to Fox, just in general, I find it hard to believe the ratings tech is actually accurate on any level.

They talk about how complex the world is, but it never seems to be complex enough that other people could have read the same evidence they have looked at and come to a different conclusion. — Sowell

Please explain to me what surprises you about the ‘right wingers’ on Mediaite.

The fact that you decide the intelligence level of Fox News viewers and their ability to decipher news and commentary is deliciously liberal. You must be part of the new ‘News Police,’ since there aren’t people like you who can make that decision themselves, or did you make that decision yourself?

I think you need to learn the difference between elitism and common sense. Your frustration is shown perfectly with your criticism of the ratings, but I know that frustration, and embarrassment of the country, comes from something else entirely. I am not the judge of that, as you would be of mine, but I have a good idea.

I’m enjoying Joy’s show. But why does FNC keep Greta Van Susteren? Her numbers are very low in comparison with the other hosts and frankly, she doesn’t offer much. I’m sure Beck would like to be included in the prime time line-up. Must be her contract because it’s certainly not her talent.

  • m

Primarily just because Greta used to be the pre-2008 faux attempt of claiming partisan balance on the network (even though 90% of her guests are conservative and she’s 90% conservative herself).

  • justinwalter

My sister and I talked earlier today about enjoying Joy’s show. I prefer her encore presentation though it cuts into David Letterman. She is a good interviewer with pretty interesting comments in a forum where she is allowed to complete a thought. It’s nice too that her producers and video guys simultaneously respond to her humor.

Here’s what I don’t get. And I see it all the time from the left, If you don’t like FOX News, why do you watch it? If it’s such a terrible network, don’t turn it on. QUIT BITCHING

  • Zakk

Oh, and also, I would like to rework your headline. Instead of:
“Joy Behar Has Her Best Ratings, Top Non-FNC Show Tuesday Night”
    How about:
“Joy Behar Has Her Best Ratings”,
Isn’t that really the heart of the story? Or, how about:
“Joy Behar is Still On the Air despite being doubled by Fox News Programming”
    These are just some suggestions.

Your story about “lying” is itself a lie. It was about a local affiliate, there was no lying involved, and so on. Do a little research before you copy/paste from Newshounds.

Sad and embarrassing so much of this country is so dumbed down.
Separately, I always wonder about the technology used to get ‘ratings’ in the first place.

I think these two sentences go well together. Here’s a hint on how ratings work… LOOK IT UP ON THE INTERNET! Instead of “assuming,” why not do a little research… they you won’t be so confused. But again, this is just part of the “dumbing down” you were talking about.

Beats me how that show of Joy Behar ever made it on TV. She is so sarcastic on The View, I stopped watching it long ago. She has nothing good to say about ANYONE that doesn’t like her love of OBAMA.
