O’Reilly: Putin Responsible for MH17 Crash, But World Leaders Too Afraid to Act

As far as Bill O’Reilly is concerned, Russian President Vladimir Putin is “directly responsible” for the Malaysian Airlines plane crashing in Ukraine today, but predicted nothing would happen to him as a result because of how scared other world leaders, including President Obama, are of him.

O’Reilly called it a “savage display” and promised to give his viewers “accurate reporting, not speculation” on what happened. He said the suspicions over who downed the plane mostly fall on Russian separatists. And since Putin has been “supplying these heavy weapons… he is directly responsible.”

But, he argued, “little will happen to Putin” because the West is afraid of him. Putin, for his part, put out a statement today saying the totality of responsibility lies with Ukraine.
