Too Close For Comfort: CNN, Fox News & MSNBC Reporters Cover Hurricane Irene From Close Distance

Hurricane Irene has brought out the big news guns, with reporters from all the networks sending people out into the field, sometimes from the most unlikely places.

CNN’s Jeanne Meserve got up close and personal with powerful waves in Ocean City. In the middle of her live report, CNN interrupted it because of some technical difficulties and went right back to the studio. Fox News’ Doug McKelway also reported from Ocean City, in front of waves that he said were bigger than any other he’s ever seen in the region.

Meanwhile, MSNBC’s Luke Russert went the Lonely Island route and reported from a boat in Alexandria, Virginia. Whatever dimension this may have added to his report isn’t quite clear as he updates viewers on the scope of the storm and how it’s expected to impact the state.

Watch the video below of their reports:

They are nothing but showboats. Their reports are all sizzle and no steak. They bring about as much insight into this as a 1 watt bulb.

In a special Saturday edition of his radio show , Al Sharpton has asked New York City residents who have left town to call in with their addresses and alarm codes . He will have his special representatives keep a watch on these residences .

Whatever guys.  Nice sound stages.  We all know that hurricanes are made up by the scientists to secure all of that lucrative grant money.

…and thus we see a clear difference in reporting. Both the c(lowns)n(itwits and socialist)n(attering nabobs) and the M(ore)S(ocialism)from N(itwit)B(iased-socialist)C(lowns) reporters are spending all their time explaining why the storm isn’t all that bad thanks solely to the magnificence of TheONE, while the FOX reporter is just trying to give the actual facts of what’s happening.

so instead of CAPITALIZING your points you are going to hide them in parentheses. Learn HTML and you can hide them in the back ground.  That or learn flash and they will bold when you mouse over them.

    just like your posts bitch
but what else can we expect from a whore’s son

Actually FNC reported the news about the hurricane; MSNBC and CNN read the DNC/Team Obama talking points again and again and again.

I used to hang out with people who distinguished between “interesting” and “interested”.

These jacka$$e$ are interesting (actually they are pitifully interesting) but they clearly are not interested.

I’d much rather hear someone tell me that the water is 3 feet higher than average – and not have to wait 2 minutes for him to report nothing while standing in the water.

These people need to wake up – investigative reporters can’t be found anywhere – instead we have a bunch of hacks adept at making themselves the stories.

we need more headlines like: MORON REPORTER DROWNS AFTER BEING KNOCKED OVER BY STORM SURGE

they should not be standing on beaches! can’t they show what’s happening from a safe distance? they are crazy. And what’s up with putting Luke on a boat!

I struck a nerve. And what can we expect from a whore’s son? YOU!

You have an inferiority complex – and it’s fully justified.

Nothing is more moronic than watching “field reporters” standing in a storm area, especially ones that have been evacuated, saying, “Yes, the water is deep here, the wind is wild,” when just about everyone KNOWS the person is in a hurricane/tropical storm.  If the storm is THAT BAD, perhaps the jokers would like to stay inside and point a camera in the direction of the destruction and stop encouraging people to get out in the bad weather.  Don’t give Goofies a reason to run out in a storm!
