‘Say It to My Face!’ Hakeem Jeffries Rages at Trump Over ‘Racist’ AI Video
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) absolutely tore into President Donald Trump outside the U.S. Capitol one day after the commander-in-chief posted an AI-generated video mocking Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
Appearing with other members of his caucus on Tuesday, Jeffries was visibly seething as addressed the clip posted by Trump, which mocked the lawmaker with a moustache and sombrero.
It was posted after Jeffries and Schumer met Trump in the Oval Office to discuss the impending government shutdown.
Jeffries wasted little time in responding to the video.
“Mr. President, the next time you have something to say about me, don’t cop out through a racist and fake AI video,” Jeffries said. “When I’m back in the Oval Office, say it to my face! Say it to my face!”

Mr. President, allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m the House Democratic leader. Our caucus is 217 members strong. We serve in a separate and co-equal branch of government. We don’t work for you. We work for the American people. We are fighting to lower the high cost of living. And to protect the healthcare of everyday Americans. And Mr. President, the next time you have something to say about me, don’t cop out through a racist and fake AI video. When I’m back in the Oval Office, say it to my face! Say it to my face! House Democrats are here, on duty, fighting on behalf of the American people ready to fund the government in a way that lifts up their quality of life. House Democrats are on duty. House Republicans are on vacation. Shame on them for being on vacation all across the country and across the world on the eve of a government shutdown. We’re on duty. They’re on vacation. They’re on vacation because they’d rather shut the government down than protect the healthcare of the American people. That’s unfathomable. That’s unacceptable. That’s unconscionable and that’s un-American. Do your job. As opposed to being missing in action.
Trump raised eyebrows after posting the video to his social media accounts hours after the summit with Jeffries and Schumer.
In it, Schumer calls himself and other Dems “woke pieces of sh*t”:
Look guys, there’s no way to sugarcoat it. Nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no voters left because of all of our woke, trans bullsh*t. Not even Black people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us. So we need new voters, and if we give all these illegal aliens free healthcare, we might be able to get them on our side so they can vote for us. They can’t even speak English so they won’t realize we’re just a bunch of woke pieces of sh*t, you know? At least for a while, until they learn English and they realize they hate us too.
The video has drawn backlash from Democrats and Republicans alike, including former senator and diplomat Jeff Flake, who told GOPers, “C’mon, fellow Republicans, we’re better than this.”
