Fox & Friends Rips Chris Hayes for Comparing Gun-Loving Republicans to Osama bin Laden: ‘Everyone Should Be Furious’

Fox & Friends is angry with MSNBC host Chris Hayes and believes everyone should be furious over his comparing gun-loving Republicans to Osama bin Laden.

At issue? Hayes noticed a curious trend that many Republican politicians and officials tend to post videos or participate in teleconference calls with a number of guns prominently featured behind them. He then compared the use of guns in this manner to bin Laden, who also was known to do the same.

The original Hayes segment aired on Tuesday evening and featured self-produced shots of Donald Trump, Jr. and recently elected Rep. Lauren Boebert, both of whom featured a number of firearms behind them.  “As weird as this image is, it is kind of becoming a trend on the right,” Hayes noted, before adding that “Osama bin Laden, for one, liked to pose in front of a bookshelf with a gun prominently displayed.”

Fox & Friends producers then aired a clip of Fox News contributor Joey Jones reacting to Hayes’ Wednesday night to Shannon Bream. “Let me tell Chris Hayes, how dare you tell someone like me that I’m anything like the man whose life’s work was to take my legs and dozens of my friend’s lives. I’m sorry we disagree but you weak-minded individual, how dare you say something like that to me. I take that personal.”

“Unbelievable analogy,” Brian Kilmeade followed. He then said that number “1b” on Biden’s agenda (after the Green New Deal) is to take away guns. “First thing is going away is ammo,” he explained. “People are talking about this across the country. Very hard to get ammo across the country. That is the second amendment. They will come after so-called assault weapons.”

Ainsely Earhardt picked up on that adding, “That comparison should make everyone furious. This guy a terrorist tried to take everything away from our country. We had soldiers went over there and fought for everything, sacrificed it all to give our country back.”
