Fox’s Cavuto and Payne Respond to Obama: He Can’t Stand Non-‘Sycophants’

Fox’s Neil Cavuto and Charles Payne responded today to President Obama swiping at Fox for its coverage of the poor, remarking upon how frequently the president takes shots at the cable channel.

Cavuto introduced the segment with a “Fox News Alert” and played a montage of all the times the president has publicly called out Fox. Payne said Obama’s shots at them are “getting a little old,” especially when he’s been in charge for a while now.

He asked why Obama prefers to blame Fox for holding poor people back instead of admitting his own shortcomings on the issue. Cavuto snarkily said, “I think we were there at the time of the Kennedy shooting.”

And the reason, Payne argued, Obama lashes out at the media so much, is because he’s “surrounded by sycophants” who don’t dare contradict him.
