The View Hosts Determine Elizabeth Warren is Not ‘A Bad Bitch’ But Klobuchar and Kamala Are
The hosts of The View took turns debating which of the Democratic women running for president wins the “bad bitch” primary, and while Senators Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Amy Klobuchar made the cut, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) came up short.
On Monday’s edition of ABC’s The View, the subject of “authenticity” came up, as Abby Huntsman praised Kamala Harris’ message about common ground, but lit into Warren’s beer-themed launch video.
Co-host Meghan McCain opined that the Warren video was “weird,” and added “Elizabeth Warren, I don’t need you to be soft and warm. Be a bad bitch! I like that about you!”
Joy Behar volunteered that “Klobuchar is the one that has the beyotch reputation that you were talking about.”
“Being a bad bitch is a good thing!” McCain said. “For me, it’s like you’re tough and you’re strong, and you’re going to get things done. I probably fit in that category.”
“Kamala does have a little bit of that, too, when you see her examining people during some of those hearings” Sunny Hostin chimed in.
“But Kamala laughs all the time, that’s why I said she looked like she was stoned,” Behar said.
Not mentioned in the discussion was Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), who also has a reputation for toughness.
Klobuchar has been the subject of anonymously-sourced stories painting her as an abusive boss, which many, including Klobuchar, see as a measure of her toughness, and both she and Harris burnished their images with tough questioning at Senate hearings.
And Warren recently made headlines by suggesting, at a rally, that Donald Trump might end up in prison before his first term is over.
