Tournament time is fast approaching. And the ACC regular season closes out with the latest renewal of one of the great sports rivalries in America: Duke vs. North Carolina.
Duke won the season’s first battle, 86-78 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. But now the Tar Heels hope to capitalize on some home cooking in Saturday night’s return battle in Chapel Hill.
UNC is still very much in the mix for a No. 1 seed in the Tournament. Duke, meanwhile, has played well of late, and could potentially snare a No. 2 seed with a strong finish to the season.
But that doesn’t matter on Saturday. Throw out the records when these two play. This one’s always fun.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET. ESPN has the coverage. The game will also be streamed online, via WatchESPN, free with a cable subscription. The Watch ESPN app can be downloaded from the iTunes, the Google Play store, and the Windows store.
