Jeff Sessions Issues Statement After Trump Attack: I Will Do My Job ‘With Integrity and Honor’

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has issued a statement following President Trump very publicly attacking him on Twitter this morning.
Sessions tasked the DOJ IG with looking into allegations of FISA abuse, but the President is not happy with that:
Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!

Well, Sessions has now issued a statement that seems to be responding to the President:

There’s been growing pressure on Sessions from the right. Fox News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano blasted him this morning, and Jerry Falwell Jr. weirdly accused him of being a coward and/or an establishment tool.
