Limbaugh: 9/11-Benghazi Comparison ‘Ridiculous’; Hillary Lied, Bush Didn’t
Rush Limbaugh today said it’s “ridiculous” to connect George W. Bush getting a “pass” for 9/11 to giving Hillary Clinton the same credence for Benghazi.
In the midst of Donald Trump‘s attacks on Jeb Bush and his brother, partly blaming the latter for the 9/11 attacks, the Bush currently running for president was pressed by Jake Tapper yesterday with the question, “You don’t want to have your brother to bear responsibility for 9/11, but why are the terrorists not the ones who are responsible for these attacks in Libya? How do you make the jump that President Obama and Secretary Clinton are responsible for what happened at Benghazi?”
Limbaugh today dismissed that comparison and said “George Bush did not mock or stonewall the 9/11 investigations,” as opposed to Clinton with the Benghazi committee.
More importantly, he argued, Bush never lied and didn’t say anything like “what difference does it make” and also it was early on in his presidency.
In fact, with that being the case, Limbaugh suggested Bill Clinton is more to blame than Bush for that attack.
