Another victim is stepping forward to accuse Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore of sexual assaulting her when she was a minor. This new accuser will hold a press conference with famed attorney Gloria Allred at 2:30 p.m. EST.

The accuser comes after last week’s stunning allegations, in which Leigh Corfman told The Washington Post that Moore assaulted her when she was just 14. Additionally, several other women came forward and told the paper that the former judge initiated relationships with them when they were teenagers and Moore was in his 30s.

The political firestorm has been brutal for Moore, with prominent Republicans such as Senator John McCain and Senator Mitch McConnell urging him to step down from the race.

Moore has denied the allegations, calling them “false and misleading” and likening them to a political witch hunt. Former colleagues, however, have told reporters that the candidate’s predilection for young girls was “common knowledge.”

Though many right-leaning lawmakers are distancing themselves from Moore, some media outlets have come to his defense. Breitbart News, led by Steve Bannon, has spearheaded a campaign to discredit his accusers, going as far as to send two reporters to Alabama in order to dig up dirt. Bannon has long been a proponent of Moore, having supported him in Alabama’s hotly contested primary race against incumbent Senator Luther Strange.

In the past, Allred has represented accusers against Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby and Roman Polanski, among others. The press conference is being held in a hotel in New York City.
