Mass. Democratic Party Chair Apologizes For Saying Scott Brown A ‘Girl’ For Folding His Own Laundry

The Democratic party Chairman of Massachusetts, John Walsh, issued an apology on Monday after he was quoted saying that Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) was an “honorary girl” for folding his own laundry.

“In the excitement of getting the convention underway and getting the message out about how important it is to re-elect President Obama and elect Elizabeth Warren, I made a statement about Scott Brown that I regret. I apologize for that remark,” read Walsh’s statement.

Walsh was quoted by reporters at a Bay State delegation breakfast in North Carolina on Monday saying Brown “spent a couple million dollars folding towels on TV to prove he’s an honorary girl.”

On Monday, the Chairman of the Democratic party of California was quoted at a breakfast for his state’s delegation in Charlotte saying that the Republican party has adopted the tactics of Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels.
