Sean Hannity Will Attend the State of the Union Next Week

Well, this should be interesting. Fox News’ Sean Hannity will be attending President Obama‘s State of the Union speech next week as the guest of Texas Republican congressman Louie Gohmert.

Earlier this week Hannity threatened to leave New York for a state like Texas over Andrew Cuomo‘s remarks about “extreme conservatives” (though he did later walk it back a little), but he also hinted, according to The Dallas Morning News, that if or when he does make the move, he would consider making a run for office.

Last year another Republican congressman, Steve Stockman, made headlines for inviting Ted Nugent to attend the State of the Union as his guest. Stockman’s guest this year is Chad Henderson, who had been touted as an Obamacare success story before it turned out that he hadn’t actually purchased a plan yet.
