‘Such Dishonesty’: Trump Slams ‘Fake News’ ABC, NBC Over Reports on ‘So-Called Russia Story’

President Trump is attacking the media again, this time over continued coverage of investigations into the connections between his presidential campaign and Russia.
It is not precisely clear which segments Trump was referring to, but he decided to rip ABC and NBC over their respective coverage on the situation today:
Just watched the totally biased and fake news reports of the so-called Russia story on NBC and ABC. Such dishonesty!

On Thursday’s Good Morning America, ABC’s Cecilia Vega reported on how House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said that information about Trump’s team was “incidentally collected” during probes on foreign officials. The report said that this legal surveillance of Trump’s transition team members was a “far cry” from the “baseless” allegations he made about Barack Obama.
The show also discussed how there are continued calls for an independent investigation into Russia, with people like Senator John McCain saying Congress no longer has the credibility to do so itself.
McCain himself appeared on NBC’s Today, where he discussed how additional information “always comes out” when dealing with subjects as serious as Trump’s alleged Russian collusion. McCain was also asked for his thoughts about Rep. Adam Schiff, and the top House Intel Democrat’s statements that the evidence against Trump is beyond “circumstantial.”
