Ted Nugent Attacks Obama’s ‘Psychotic’ Plans For Gun Control

Musician and staunch NRA supporter Ted Nugent told conservative radio host Aaron Klein this weekend that President Obama‘s gun control plans are “psychotic.” Obama appointed Vice President Joe Biden to lead a task force to make recommendations for how to reduce gun violence in America and according to Nugent, these actions are “crazy” and “illogical.”

“A person who lives by logic and studies history and tries to implement the lessons learned by history cannot begin to rationally explain the conduct of this president or his attorney general or this administration,” he said.

Nugent claimed that fear alone prompted American support for gun control in the wake of the mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. He said that increased gun legislation is “engineering slaughters.”

“Obama’s dream already exists, and those are called gun-free zones, and that is where the most innocent lives are lost,” Nugent said. “What kind of monster would want more of these? Because if you ask for more gun-free zones, if you further disarm innocent Americans, you are literally engineering slaughters.”

Obama’s decision to have Biden and Attorney General Eric Holder lead the task force, Nugent said, was like “hiring Jeffrey Dahmer to tell us to how to take care of our children.”
