Trump Hits ESPN on Twitter, Demands Apology After White Supremacist Comments

The President of the United States of America was having a very active morning on Twitter, Friday.

After again calling for the end of the filibuster, suggesting new Internet controls, and condemning terrorism in London, Trump also took a moment to blast the sports network ESPN and demand an apology from the network after one of their anchors called him a “white supremacist.”

“ESPN is paying a really big price for its politics (and bad programming). People are dumping it in RECORD numbers. Apologize for untruth!” said Trump.

On September 11, ESPN’s Jemele Hill called Trump a white supremacist on Twitter. While she had her defenders, the controversy reached the White House, when Press Secretary Sarah Sanders called the comments a “fireable offense.” Trump’s tweet shows the matter has reached the Oval Office and will now be enshrined as a part of official United States history.

… Great.
