WATCH: Meghan McCain Snaps at View Producer Who Told Her Not to Call Michael Cohen a ‘Jackass’

The word jackass is, apparently, verboten on The View. But Meghan McCain really doesn’t think it should be.

During Friday’s opening segment, McCain used the forbidden word in reference to President Donald Trump‘s former attorney Michael Cohen.

“I honestly think Michael Cohen was a jackass from day one,” McCain said. “And I continue to think he’s a jackass. So I don’t know what he could probably say [at a February Congressional hearing] to change that.”

Regular Friday co-host Ana Navarro proceeded to use the word in her response to McCain. But McCain proceeded to interject with the bad news.

“Sorry, apparently you’re not allowed to say that, Ana,” McCain said. “I just got it in my earpiece.”

She added, sarcastically, “Sorry! Sorry I can’t say that”

McCain went on to admonish the producer.

“I’m sorry, don’t censor us on what we’re allowed to say about a guy like Michael Cohen who’s about to rot in jail!”
