Trump PAC Ad Asking If Biden ‘Can Even Survive to 2029’ Kicks Off on MSNBC Ahead of SOTU
A Super PAC backing Donald Trump began airing an ad on Thursday asking whether President Joe Biden can survive a second term in office just hours ahead of his State of the Union address.
The ad, titled Jugular, comes from Make America Great Again Inc. and first aired on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, a show that is reportedly a favorite for Biden. The ad is also airing on other networks like Newsmax, Fox News, and CNN ahead of the president’s address to the nation. The ad aired multiple times on Newsmax during the morning programming.
The ad also includes Biden addressing the death of activist Alexei Navalny while imprisoned in Russia.
“I guess I should clear my mind here a little bit,” Biden says in the quick snippet.
“We can all see Joe Biden’s weakness. If Biden wins, can he even survive to 2029. The real question is, can we?” the narrator of the 30-second spot asks.
The ad ends with footage of Biden tripping on the stairs up to Air Force One on a split screen with Vice President Kamala Harris laughing.
Biden’s camp ripped the ad as “sick and deranged” in a statement on Thursday released shortly after the ad started airing.
