Fox’s Kilmeade Goes Off on Hunter Biden’s ‘Unbelievable’ Laptop Comments: ‘There Is No Doubt’ It’s His!

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade is firmly convinced that Hunter Biden lied with his ambiguous comments about the laptop at the center of the New York Post’s reporting on him.

On Monday, Fox & Friends fumed over the public skepticism over the Post’s story last year about the Hunter Biden files that supposedly came from a laptop abandoned at a Delaware computer repair shop. The story was a major development amplified by conservative media during the final stages of the 2020 election, though the impact fizzled out between credibility concerns and the lack of consensus on whether there was anything truly damaging for President Joe Biden in there.

Of course, Fox & Friends amplified the Post story quite a bit, and so Steve Doocy said that the story didn’t get more traction in the media at the time because “they wanted to make sure Joe Biden got elected.” He then turned to his attention to Hunter’s interview with CBS, where the president’s son admitted “Certainly, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked, it could be that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me.”

This was good enough for Kilmeade to declare that the laptop was definitely Biden’s.

“He knows exactly that it’s his laptop. It even had a Beau Biden foundation sticker on it,” he said. “It was his laptop, dropped off with all his personal information. There is no doubt about it. It could be Russian disinformation with all your emails and all your stuff that you handed off? This is unbelievable.”

Kilmeade continued from there by wondering why Hunter is releasing a memoir in the first year of his father’s presidency when it will dredge up the laptop story again. This led to him and his colleagues wondering if other news outlets will reverse their previous stances on the Post report, plus why the FBI has not said anything more about what they’ve seen on the laptop.
