Beck is paid 50 million a year to stand up for America, and Trump alleges himself to be among the richest of the rich. They stand up for themselves first and foremost. As for the other issues, it would be nice to get to those but the republicans block all effort in favor of important matters like defunding Planned Parenthood.

Choosing the right partner when going into business is important. Who would be the better business partner Obama or Trump? Despite some of his failures, 99% of Americans would choose Trump. But Obama is a better politician even if not chosen to be a business partner.

Your argument is not unsound, but I doubt that would make a difference anymore. The only US action which would reduce oil prices would be a strong move towards reduced consumption. A tax of say $4.00/gallon would drop the price. US production is less than a ripple in the world market.

Trump has certainly been entertaining, but he seems to be gaining in the polls even as the Republicans are distancing themselves as fast as they can.

I agree that Trump isn’t likely to join the race. A lot of people credit a reluctance to file financial disclosures that would pop his mythology, while I’d also factor-in that he’s unlikely to withstand any type of investigation. (I realize that I’m old, but John Zaccaro wasn’t even the candidate) Still, as people applaud his half-hearted “proposals” and his poll numbers continue rise, you have to wonder how much of this is going to Trump’s head and how much the legitimate Republican candidates may pale in comparison.

There are no less than 10 federal agencies that safeguard ALL workers today. Unions are no longer necessary to ensure worker safety, that’s a ridiculous argument. The N.L.R.B. is accusing the company of setting up a nonunion production line in South Carolina to retaliate against unionized workers in Washington State for striking.

i can’t relate to you but i can emphasize how terrible it would be to have such an ugly word thrown at you and for you to have to justify that you are not one. i wish it were different but to the best of my knowledge, conservatives didn’t have people in their ranks that were racist and that only came after the ‘dixiecrats’ left the democrat party and were adopted by the republicans because of their strong belief in states rights. unfortunately with those state rights came was the belief that supported people who opposed racial integration and supported jim crowe laws.
