Meryl Streep Wins Golden Globe For Julie And Julia
Is it possible to ever get tired of Meryl Streep? Apparently not. Streep beat out herself and this year to nab the Golden Globe for ‘Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy Or Musical’ for her role as Julia Child in the movie Julie and Julia. Streep, who always somehow manages to make aging seem like its own reward, informed the audience that she would like to change her name to T-bone “T-bone Streep” and noted “in my long career I have played so many extraordinary women that basically I am getting mistaken for one.” Class act.
