NY State GOP Senator Roy McDonald Is In Favor Of Gay Marriage, Says ‘F*** It’ If You Don’t Like It

Senator Roy McDonald, a Republican representing New York’s 43rd district, recently changed his mind when it comes to same-sex marriage. He’s for it! He wasn’t, but now he is, and you’re just going to have to… Do this in response. In fact, McDonald has pledged to support Governor Andrew Cuomo‘s bill seeking to legalize same-sex marriage in the state of New York.

McDonald announced his decision via a press release you may want to read:

You get to the point where you evolve in your life where everything isn’t black and white, good and bad, and you try to do the right thing. You might not like that. You might be very cynical about that. Well, fuck it, I don’t care what you think. I’m trying to do the right thing. I’m tired of Republican-Democrat politics. They can take the job and shove it. I come from a blue-collar background. I’m trying to do the right thing, and that’s where I’m going with this.

And then he dropped the mic, looked out into the audience like “What now?” and moonwalked off the stage.

    THE INTERNATIONALE

Stand up, all victims of oppression
For the tyrants fear your might
Don’t cling so hard to your possessions
For you have nothing, if you have no rights
    Let racist ignorance be ended
For respect makes the empires fall
    Freedom is merely privilege extended
Unless enjoyed by one and all

    Chorus:
    So come brothers and sisters
    For the struggle carries on
    The internationale
    Unites the world in song
    So comrades come rally
For this is the time and place
    The international ideal
    Unites the human race

Let no one build walls to divide us
Walls of hatred nor walls of stone
Come greet the dawn and stand beside us
We’ll live together or we’ll die alone
In our world poisoned by exploitation
Those who have taken, now they must give
And end the vanity of nations
We’ve but one earth on which to live

And so begins the final drama
In the streets and in the fields
We stand unbowed before their armour
We defy their guns and shields
When we fight, provoked by their aggression
Let us be inspired by like and love
For though they offer us concessions
Change will not come from above

Ugh… when will Republicans realize this is a loosing issue for them. Homosexuals will eventually be allowed to marry freely across the country, and it’s about damn time the Republicans get on the correct side of history! There is nothing positive that will come from looking back and saying, “The Republicans didn’t want this,” when it’s established across the country!

Think about it as a real right-wing issue… you don’t want the government telling you who you can or can’t marry. Simple as that! The definition of Conservative politics!

Good for this guy. This is far too trivial of an issue (in terms of real issues like war, economics, etc.) to spend so much time on.

The Muslims love this idea: While homosexual marriages produce no children and thus the numbers of non-Muslims decreas, the Muslims are breeding like flies and will soon outnumber the non-Muslims. Who will be left to defend the homosexuals? The Muslims will be stoning them all.

  • Jimtotalk

How much influence did the $38000 in contrabutions from the gay groups have on changeing his mind.
