Former Rep. Mark Foley Breaks Silence Tonight On Hannity To Discuss His Own Scandal And Weiner

Tonight on Fox News, Sean Hannity is interviewing an expert on Internet sex scandals. Former Florida Republican Congressman Mark Foley is Hannity’s guest and he will not only discuss his own Internet sex scandal that forced him to resign, but while he is there, he’ll also have some comments on Anthony Weiner’s ongoing controversy as well.

This is Foley’s first national interview since he resigned from his position in 2006, after it was discovered he sent sexually suggestive messages to teenage males in the congressional page program. With the passage of five years that witnessed various explosive sex scandals in both political parties, Foley is now ready to speak out on his own.

He’s bringing in an old photo of Big John Holmes and saying “Take my word for it.”

Anthony Weiner’s was done because he was horny, and Mark Foley was trying to bang underage boys because he has such a deep, passionate love for this country.

I feel sorry for the Gay GOP men – they work so hard to deny their real sexuality. Dems just admit it if they happen to be gay.

One more thing how desperate do you have to be to go on tv to be an expert perv? Shows you the type politics attracts.

    Homosexuality is so gay.

Mark Foley to discuss “Weiner”….. well when you want an answer about something, go to the expert.

    Mr. Schneider –

I think you need to revise your title. I understand why Mr. Foley would be willing to discuss his past indiscretions, but I don’t get why he would come on national TV to discuss his weiner. I know what you mean, but it reads funny.

Fact: I can’t wait to see the lefties down Foley when Man to young boy phone pics are okay up to even marriage with them since morals don’t hold water.

Pa Dump Bump ! Good one.

Interesting. I guess all this penis talk got him excited.

I hope Weiner stays on. Like Nixon used to say, they don’t go for that kind of thing in Peoria. It will help sink the D’s in 2012.

It is a real shame you elected to be so flippant. The Foley matter involve sexual matters alone. It involved a serious breach of trust the parents of the Congressional Pages had in the government. The government acted in loco parentis and government representatives and agents had a duty to protect these pages. Not only was the duty breached, but power was abused. The Foley matter unfolded on many different levels, and it was far more serious than you are willing to admit.

Isn’t discussing his own weiner what got Foley in trouble in the first place?

  • AIO_7

Don’t be surprised when Foley and Hannity begin to blow each other silly right on camera.

  • TangledThorns

    Foley is disgusting.

I’m sure you and other libs will be applauding Foley for what he did. I mean, who are we to judge, right?

    “Foley is disgusting.”

And Weiner isn’t? The age of consent in DC is 16 and Foley was sending IM’s to teens 16 to 19. Yet unlike Weiner, he had enough sense of shame to quit after getting caught. That’s why I can forgive Foley and not Weiner. Besidse, at least Foley wasn’t married, a single man is free to do as he wishes as long as he follows the law.

Just a hunch, but I really doubt you would be on this board defending Weiner if he would of resigned.

  • Tedderman

Finally Fox trots out a real expert on weiners, Mark Foley.

Your opinions aren’t very original or good or articulate. Like I said, you should drop the “libertarian” shtick and just embrace Team Red.

Good grief, Sean. This country is in deep doo doo and you waste your viewers time by bringing on creeps to discuss the creepy side of politics. And you wonder why your show is losing viewership? C’mon Sean we tune into FOX News for real political news and views and not for sexual gratification. And FOX, CNN and LSDnbc is spending half their air time talking about the decomposing body of a little girl and her sick family that killed her. Shouldn’t you folks be letting HLN, Court TV and TRU TV spend their 24/7 on that story? Who determines which child’s death in America get wall to wall coverage on every channel. Like with OJ , Tiger and all the political scum bags who can’t keep their weenies in their pants……enough is enough…!

I demand you cable news networks give us the Playboy Bunnies, Bud Light Girls, Miller Light Girls, Coors Light Girls, Tropicana Girls, etc. political views 24/7. Then start a sister network to give the women what they want. Watch your ratings soar………………….!!!!!

    And Weiner isn’t?

That’s all the BS I could stand to repost. Foley was in charge of young men who were living their dream of being a Congressional page.
“In loco parentis” is the concept by which schools and other institutions care for minor children in the absence of the parents. Foley used his “father” role to seduce young men who were in his custody, and were likely to be swept up in his perceived power. He was a child rapist.
Weiner was an arrogant, juvenile idiot. But, sexting is not sodomy.
Were you complaining when Maddow brought up Vitter? If so, what do you say to Manatee?

I don’t think the writers come up with their own headlines.

And uhhh, I think it reading funny was the point.

Foley did not engage in sodomy, Foley had no sexual contact whatsoever, he sent pages that were WITHIN the legal age of consent (16 and older). Unethical? Yes. Illegal? No. The fact is that if Foley had been a Democrat your liberal friends would have been defending him.

By the way, why do we even have congressional pages? It makes no sense having teenagers in congress.

So what you’re saying is that the Foley case and the Weiner case are practically the same. Other than the fact that Weiner has refused to resign. Now in your mind would you then be satisfied if Weiner were to step down? Then would you feel some semblence of fair play? But where does the “fair play” come into effect, in the case of Vitter? Here is a Congressman who broke the law, and the Republicans simply closed ranks around him. They never called for his resignation. One can only assume he has quit seeing prostitutes. I also assume his wife forgave him. Unless she left him, I don’t know all the particulars of the case. I do know he is still in Congress. Is there any hypocrisy, in the Republican’s position to back a Congressman who confessed to wrong doing and not demanding his resignation, and their position now, to show utter disdain and demand the resignation of Mr. Weiner?
