Aziz Ansari Plays Pretty Decent Bobby Jindal on The Tonight Show
Comedian and actor Aziz Ansari gifted The Tonight Show audience with his impression of Louisiana Governor and Republican presidential candidate Bobby Jindal on Wednesday. It’s not nearly as good as David Alan Grier‘s spot as Ben Carson in October, but it’s not terrible either.
Instead of breaking out his signature Donald Trump impression, host Jimmy Fallon “interviewed” Ansari’s Jindal for a segment during the opening monologue. The sketch platform allowed the two comedians to give the audience a brief exposition of the governor’s C-SPAN-centric campaign, which currently puts him in the lower poll rankings with a whopping 2 percent.
“A lot of people are wondering, why are you staying in the race when it’s November and you’re only polling at 1 percent?” asked Fallon.
“I’m going to stop you right there Jimmy, because I’m not polling at 1 percent,” Ansari/Jindal responded. “I was polling at 1 percent. I’m now polling at 2 percent. That’s a 100 percent increase!”
“It’s a huge difference,” he continued. “You ever taste 1 percent milk? It’s barely milk! It’s like drinking white water. But man, when you start dumping that 2 percent milk on your Apple Jacks… you can taste the fat. It’s a game-changer.”

At least The Tonight Show writers were able to create yet another catchy slogan for a lower-polling presidential candidate this time around.
