Fox News’ Ed Henry Confronts Katrina Pierson: Do You Raise Your Son to Call Women Dogs?’
Fox News’ Ed Henry had on Trump 2020 campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson Tuesday night for a contentious interview on her shifting stories about a potential tape of the president using the N-word.
Pierson, who in the conversation referred to former White House official Omarosa Manigault Newman as a “dog chasing a bone,” was asked a pointed question by Henry.
In light of Trump’s jab at Manigault Newman (“Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!” he tweeted Monday), Henry said:
“The president called Omarosa a dog. I was talking to you before the show. You have a son. You always in private talk to me about him, you love him very much. I’m going to leave the president out of this. Do you raise your son to call a woman, any woman in this country, a dog?”
“Well, this isn’t about my son,” Pierson said.
“No I’m not going to let you do that,” Henry fired back.
Pierson began shouting over Henry, before the Fox News host brought it back to another question.
“Let’s leave your son out of it then, and leave the president out of it. Would it be appropriate for me to call a woman a dog? Yes or no,” he asked.
“It depends on what she did to you,” Pierson replied.
“It depends!?” Henry exclaimed.
“Omarosa bit the hand that fed her, to me, that’s what a dog is,” she replied, before noting that Trump has referred to men as dogs as well.
“Take off your Trump hat,” Henry said, taking one final shot at the question. “As a woman, do you think it’s appropriate for any man to call a woman a dog? Really?”
