GOP Rep. Darrell Issa: There Should Be a Special Prosecutor for Russia Investigation

Last night on Bill Maher‘s show, Congressman Darrell Issa made some news in calling for a special prosecutor to investigate the Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Maher asked Issa about Obamacare to start off, but eventually got into Russia and told him if the Russians had hacked Mitt Romney and the Republicans in 2012, there’s no way he and his party would have stood for that.

Issa said of course not and told Maher that there will be congressional intel committee investigations into the matter.

Maher countered that they really need an independent prosecutor, not to mention the need for AG Jeff Sessions to recuse himself because he was part of the Trump campaign.

Issa agreed with Maher, saying that Sessions should recuse himself and a special prosecutor should be brought in.
