Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton Sings ‘Hallelujah’ in SNL Cold Open

SNL eschewed comedy for something entirely different in its cold open this week.

Kate McKinnon, as Hillary Clinton, sang Leonard Cohen‘s “Hallelujah” as she played the piano (Cohen passed away earlier this week).

Clinton-McKinnon ended the song by saying, “I’m not giving up and neither should you.”
