Mika Brzezinski Slams Latest Clinton Email Excuses: ‘People Are Not That Dumb’

BrzezinskiLiberal MSNBC Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski tore into Hillary Clinton Wednesday morning over the recent report that 30 additional emails about the Benghazi attacks had just been located, despite Clinton’s claim to have turned over all work-related emails.

“I think the email, the home server, the foundation, I think it’s all part of the baggage that the Clinton have lugged across the landscape of this country for 30 years,”  Mike Barnicle said. “I don’t think it’s one specific thing. I think it’s just an additional thing.”

“When the people get out there in the ether of today’s headlines and it’s ’30 Emails Benghazi Hidden,’ that doesn’t help,” Brzezinski said. “Sorry, 30 missing emails about Benghazi? That just doesn’t help.”

Still, guest Donnie Deutsch was inclined to defend Clinton, arguing her untrustworthiness was not as dangerous as Donald Trump. “It’s still mushier and gushier…” he began.

“No, it’s not gushy,” Brzezinski scoffed. “Oh my god! People are not that dumb.”

“I’m just saying what we have been saying for over a year, even further, is that the e-mail thing is big, it needs to be answered to, it needs to be completely transparent from the get go. I guess she couldn’t push the State Department to move along and get those e-mails out?” she laughed. “I mean, what?”
