Fox News’ John Roberts: ‘Avalanche’ of Feces is ‘Rolling Downhill at Warp Speed’ Towards Trump

Fox News White House correspondent John Roberts was criticized by his media peers Friday following the incident in which he did not immediately condemn President Donald Trump‘s attacks on CNN’s Jim Acosta at a press conference — proceeding simply to ask a question. (Roberts later defended CNN on the air and in a statement.) Many of Roberts’ peers felt, among other things, that he was guilty of ignoring criticism of the president — from Acosta and others.

The charge that Roberts is a pollyanna for the president is unlikely to be repeated on Monday.

In a tweet posted to his personal account, the Fox News White House correspondent acknowledged the widespread condemnation of Trump following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki.

“Whoa….There is an avalanche of you-know-what rolling downhill at warp speed toward @realDonaldTrump over this summit,” Roberts wrote. “Republicans – even the DNI are throwing bucketsful at him.”

Holy you-know-what.
