Fox’s Todd Starnes: Why Didn’t Obama Send Condolences to Cop Who Killed Michael Brown?

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama issued a statement on the shooting death of unarmed Michael Brown by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer. The president called the incident “heartbreaking” and urged the residents of that city to avoid engaging in violent protest.

Within minutes, Fox News contributor Todd Starnes offered the following reaction to Obama’s statement on Twitter:

Yes, he went there. (BTW, the police officer is still alive, so… huh?)

Curiously, Starnes has not yet participated in the #IfTheyGunnedMeDown Twitter hashtag campaign, so we will take the liberty of doing it for him:
