‘He Has Created a Lot of Jobs’: Spicer on Pelosi’s Claim That Trump Hasn’t Introduced a Jobs Bill
In today’s White House press briefing, White House press secretary Sean Spicer was asked to respond to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi‘s assertion that President Donald Trump hasn’t introduced a single jobs bill.
“He has created a lot of jobs,” Spicer stated. “I think that he is continuing to work with Congress on both repealing and replacing Obamacare, tax reform and fundamentally both of those two items alone I think can help spur a lot of growth.”
Spicer then pointed to the numerous meetings Trump has held with CEOs and his actions on regulations, claiming that has already spurred job growth.
“I mean the list goes on and on and on of people saying to the president because of your agenda, because of your vision, we are willing to commit to hiring additional people, to manufacturing more,” Spicer said. “That’s how jobs are created.”
