It Happens: French Olympian Soils Shorts During Race

This guy REALLY wanted to win.

The Olympic 50k Walk is still in progress, currently approaching the three hour mark. Around 50 minutes into the race, a brown liquid was seen running down the back of French walker Yohann Diniz’s right leg.

Yeah…he did it.

The worst part for Diniz is that it’s likely his struggles will go for naught. After leading much of the race, he stopped and doubled over in pain shortly after the two hour mark. The delay appears to have taken him out of medal contention.

As breaks go, this one is particularly shi-…uh, bad.
